For the first time, Fiji held a National Summit on Building Resilence to Climate Change that brought together the crossection of society, representatives from various non government organisations, government, and community members both in the rural, peri-urban and urban areas.

Stories and experiences were recounted and solutions raised at the Summit that was held in laidback Labasa, on the north side of Fiji. At the end of it all, a master plan, to guide the countrys reponses to the challenge of climate change emerged.

Spicing up the issue are stories from the field, the love story on a far flung island of a once aggressive turtle hunter, a mud crab connoisseur who speaks with mangrove trees and all the volunteering action from WWF South Pacific.
